Guest guest
Hi! Great news! Maybe you have fungus in the back of your throat or post-nasal drip to explain the need to clear your throat? Guest guest
Hi Meencantador, Glad to hear about your peak flow that is great! I take Symbicort I don't think I have noticed myself clearing my throat more than I normally do from post nasal drip and clearing it from Asthma. I switched to Symbicort from Advair about 2 - 3 months ago and I like it better. My doctor did emphasis that you need to gargle water and spit it out at least twice after use and I do that religously. Mostly cause I hate when any meds or inhalers make my voice raspy and I sound like Peppermint Patti (from Peanuts fame). Best to you on your continued improvement. One question I want to put out there. Anyone taking symbicort, do you find you have to clear your throat a lot?

My voice is my livelihood. I was having some problems with hoarseness a few months ago and my doctor switched me from Advair to symbicort. I think that I must have had a long viral laryngitis because neither of these meds made things better and my voice got better on it's own. Now I am back on Advair 500/50 two times a day and my voice is back to normal. I DO rinse very carefully afterwards. I just uploaded a .wav file of my wife and I singing in the " files " section if you want to hear what this asthmatic sound like. If your computer has speakers and sound software, you should be able to hear the file by clicking on it. How do I sing so well in church you ask? I neb in the mornings before I go to church and I do just great Doug Group founder

Laurie Hmmm, that is strange. Everyone should be able to access the files. I will check on it. Doug

Guest guest
I don't know about nauseated, but I developed thrush from the symbicort but it works better for me than advair ever did. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
Joy - I'm wondering about your thrush. Are you rinsing your mouth twice with a big mouthful of water after each use of the Symbicort? That should prevent the appearance of thrush. - Fran --- In , Joy VanSleet <jclutterbuster@...> wrote: > > I don't know about nauseated, but I developed thrush > from the symbicort but it works better for me than > advair ever did. > > > ________________________________________________________________________ ____________ > Looking for last minute shopping deals? > Find them fast with Search. http://tools.search./newsearch/category.php?category=shopping >
Guest guest
yes, I'm rinsing. Just once before I've had thrush from a long, high dose of steroids. I think that because of the evil candy I am slightly more predisposed to thrush and also yeast infections from antibiotics that require diflucan to treat. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
