allergies bad here

also it seems the dr said I have a 102 temp. Sinus infection and upper resp

infection.

How fun!! (Not!)

I had to leave work early bc my lungs felt like they were shutting down

Now, local pharmacies don't have the Rx. So I continue to suffer. Why?

My doctor prescribed Nasonex AND Astelin. He told me that they take

care of two different problems. He gave them to me when I had a coughing event

for about three weeks. My GP had also given me Astelin several years ago when my

ears were stopped up after an International flight. It really helped that, too.

I try to keep Astelin on hand.

That was one ignorant and poorly trained RN. Sorry to hear you're

having the miseries - feel better soon. Just wondering - do use

Astelin as one of your nasal sprays? If not, as your doc to add it to

your meds. It's an antihistamine that goes right to the source in

nasal allergies. I use it a lot for my chronically itchy nose (and

gee, I'm on Xolair - tell THAT to that RN!LOL) and especially for

flareups. For me those flareups these days come mainly on rainy days

due to mold spores, my biggest nemesis of many big nemeses.
