Guest guest
I am finding that I bruise very easily. But I always did. Now it is a bit worse. I have been painting and when I lean my legs against the ladder I end up with bruises across my shins. It looks like I have been beaten with a big stick! Guest guest
Fran can probably clarify this better, but I heard today on a doctor's segment on TV that vitamin C is good for the skin and she even suggested skin cream with vit. C. I have heard for many years that vitamin C was good for helping to keep one from bruising. However, if the skin is thin and the blood likewise is thin, I'm not a doctor, but I wouldn't think there is too much that could be done. I haven't taken Vit. C in a while and I've noticed a bruise here or there, that I don't remember how I could have gotten. I am going to start my vit. c regimen again. Usually I eat enough fruits and veggies with vit. C, but I haven't been eating properly lately, either. I am very much aware of how important a good diet is for overall good health. My PCP has taken me off of all but the very basic supplements--a " one-a-day " for seniors, calcium (1200mg.), and I have to take I Caps for my eyes. But I think I'll start the C again, anyway. Otherwise, I really have not noticed any unusual bruising. Gail s <gaildaniels@...> wrote: I am finding that I bruise very easily. But I always did. Now it is a bit worse.
