hate 'em, won't do them. I always go right into an

asthma attack, I come prepared wearing depends for the

hard coughing. I have to drive an hour to my

pulmonologist and I don't like feeling physically

compromised on the drive home so we have agreed upon

my just breathing into one of those little hand held

measuring devices (name escapes me) left by some drug

company. Even a hard blow from that will cause me to

cough but I can recover quickly and drive home safely.

Yeah, I know what you mean!

I assumed the tests were necessary because I'm on Xolair and probably

the doc has to show some improvement in order to justify the expense

and and to keep me on it.

That's part of the reason I was wondering if others on Xolair also

undergo these tests every few months. The doc did say that the tests

can be very hard on people - sure triggered inflammation in me this

time. Driving while woozy is dangerous indeed - and that's what I

ended up doing. Think I need to take a bottle of water to calm my

throat afterward as I was put right into exam room with nothing.
