Guest guest
This week has been awful for the humidity and heat in the Washington D.C. area and we are expecting more of the same for the next few days. I will be fine in the morning but by afternoon, I just feel like an elephant is on my chest. I'm not wheezing, but definitely working harder to breath. In years past I would have blamed it on allergies, but now I wonder after being on Xolair for 10 months if it isn't allergic asthma as much as the physical trigger of the humidity and heat. Add to it that I dehydrate faster in this type of weather, and I am hurting today even though I have only really been outside for 10 minutes here, 15 minutes there. I also didn't get much sleep last night and I think that impacts my lungs too. Guess I need to get my nebulizer out... bummer. At least I made it through May and June without using it. I have used my rescue inhaler about once a week but I was blaming that on air pollution and running around in a convertible - LOL!! B.
