Guest guest Posted November 29, 2007 Report Share Posted November 29, 2007 i've been on xolair just about three years -- mypre-xolair PFT was always hanging around 60-70%. 3 weeks ago (i'm a week late on xolair - thanksgiving messed up my schedule) my PFT ws 101% - who would have ever guessed that! (granted, that was after i used my inhaler and before i got this plague of a cold from one of my students, but 101% -- whoohoooo!) heather > > I, too, have seen a dramatic increase in my lung capacity -- 74% in July when I began Xolair and as of yesterday, it had increased to 87%. I am shocked. The pulmo listened to my lungs and said that all was clear. I'm going to resume a regular exercise program tomorrow. This is amazing news for me. I had hoped that the Xolair would " just " stabilize me. I never anticipated a return to a near- normal lung capacity.
