Xolair and Plaquenil Anyone?

Ok, before it was methotrexate that bombed with me. Now the rheumy

suggests Plaquenil (for seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis) so I'm

fishing here to find out about others who might be on this combo.

Apparently it has fewer side effects except for loss of vision! I

believe it is less likely to affect the immune system's ability to

fight off infections.

I was pleased to hear from others on methotrexate & Xolair combo - they

seem to be doing well so apparently it's something about me. We

allergic people, even though we have much in common, still have our

individual idiosyncracies! I'm assuming there's no particular issue

there in terms of Xolair ...? Actually, as I recall, there are no

contraindications for meds w/Xolair, are there?

I **will wait** until I see pulmo this time - also until I feel better

(if that ever happens!). Still value input from others on these

issues.
