help on pred, is this normal?

It's late, and my lung doctor is out of town. I just started a 60mg pred taper

because my asthma has flared up so bad. All I've done is cry cry cry and the

depressive thoughts are terrible. I know I'm worn down from being ill. Is this

normal? I am supposed get my xolair shot tomorrow. Thanks to all who have read

this far. Oh is it better to spread the pred pills out or take them all at once.
