Smoke Gets In My Eyes....and lungs

Is anyone else is Southern California? The many fires, smoke and wind

are so bad. My eyes and throat are burning and when I went out briefly

to get a hepa mask to wear when I go to work tomorrow I started

coughing in wheezing. I had stayed in all day and my husband came home

with a Whirlpool 510 Whispure air purifier he bought at work.(this was

one that was on a list from a report my allergist gave me and we had

been planning on buying for awhile) The smoke is even coming thru one

of our closed windows at home. I called our apartment manager I told

them I have severe asthma and ask them to check our window and tape it

up until it could be repaired properly and she said oh they have a lot

of real emergencies and people have property damage from the wind and

maybe I could wait until tomorrow or go out and repair myself. I told

her " Well my breathing is a real emergency and I am supposed to stay

inside. " She said she would get someone but, nobody ever came so my

husband duct taped it. The way that woman talked to me made me so upset.

I hope I do okay at work tomorrow. I Live in the Conejo Valley and the

smoke just loves to settle here. The last time we had fires like

this my doctor said " she almost called me that weekend to tell me to

drive down to Orange County and stay with my parents. " Well this time

they are even having fires down there so that is not an option.

This is one irritant that the Xolair doesn't change. However, since I

have been on Xolair over 6 months I am in a lot better shape so maybe

it won't be as bad as the last fires we had.

We have some awesome firefighters out here protecting lives and

property I am praying they stay safe. They are stretched pretty thinly

with all these multiple fires cropping up.

Oh no there have been quite a few sirens hope there is not another

fire. The two closest had been about 4 and 20 miles away.

gonna get some sleep. Thanks for listening.
