Guest guest
The xolair 2x a month seems to be working. That and a switch to symbicort from the advair. It seems I am in a lot of physical pain but peakflows are better and I don't have this constant tight feeling around my chest. Even with anxiety attacks. Maybe the holidays will be easier. I am bruising more and more. I look like a punching bag sometimes and co workers feel I am in an abusice relationship. I am not. I am happier the meds are working, but I do wish it did not hurt the wallet as much. I hope everyone is doing well. My thoughts are with those going through hard times breathing and all with the wildfires in Ca. Here in Fl, I can relate. My prayers go out to ya. Guest guest
I am glad to here that you are having some improvement in your breathing!!! In my experience, that should continue, so that with a few more months of getting shots 2X a month you should see some really major improvement. I certainly hope so. I have huge bruising issues, and it has been months since my last pred taper. I can hardly even scratch an itch without bruising myself. While there has been some improvement, it seems to be a permanent sort of thing for me. I have very fair skin, however, and that probably also plays a part.
