Guest guest
I am finally getting my first injection Monday. It took about a month and a half to get everything approve through the Army insurance carrier. I know that bigger Army Hospitals that have pulmo and allergy sections that use X but my hospital isn't as big. The doctor's office I go to only has two other patients on X so they are also learning about the paperwork process as well. I change my albuterol to combivent and it has helped alot. My PFT went up from 300 after taking all my meds to 350. When I run, I can know make it throught the run but I still struggle. If it is below 50degrees and the humidity is below 80% I cough for hours and have to use my inhalers. In Oklahoma the weather changes so much. One morning it is 55 the next its 29. I talk to a medic that work in an allergy clinic at another post and he said all the patients (military and civilian) loved X. I hope it helps me as well. With X I want to be able to run just like my peers. Your Soldier, Dineen
Guest guest
Dineen, I am so glad to hear that you are staring Xolair!!! Remember, it may take a while to see improvement, esp. given the fact that you are in a stressful line of work and stress always impacts our health. I know you are here at home in the US, but we still want you to stay safe and well. We are all so proud of you and all our soldiers here and abroad! I hope you see lots of improvement from Xolair!
