RAST testing and xolair follow up

just a follow up - i went for bloodwork for food allergies.

(asthma's been *okay*, eczema has been awful for quite a few months

now). i guess despite xolair, RAST testing can be done. i showed a

low allergy to broccoli and soybean and moderately high allery to

carrot, corn (UGGG), tomato, pear, oat, rice, wheat, peanut and

yeast.

perhaps this is the reason. just looking at my breakfast (mini-

wheats, oatmeal or double fiber wheat toast) for the last 3 months

or even my lunches for the last year (peanut butter/jelly on wheat

bread, whole wheat pasta w/veggies or oatmeal), i'd say i've caused

my own misery.

i haven't talked to the dr yet -- just grabbed results out of my

chart. i'm assuming mod high means to avoid it if its in the first 3

ingredients (thats what i did last time). the corn is the killer.

corn syrup, corn starch...i'll be a label reading fool again, but at

least i know.....

......sigh....
