Guest guest
I must admit that I'm a tad bit envious of these " immediate responders " !!! Before I started Xolair my FEV1 was 66.3% of pred. and FVC was 74.5 % of pred. I started Xolair in late March this year. In Sept this year my FEV1 was 72.1% of pred. and FVC was 80.6% of pred. I'm one of those slow, steady responders! What is the usual amount of response people get on PFT tests when using Xolair? Does it continue to improve for a long time? i.e., is it possible I might see, say, 90% in another 6 months or a year? Not that I'm impatient or anything ... just want it now!!! <wink> p.s., injected myself again last night and no dizziness or other effects I could tell. did wake up w/sinus headache (as usual) but probably time to change the sheets and vacuum too .... !!! --- In , " Becker, " <nbecker@...> wrote: > > I forgot to mention that my lung capacity has improved 10% over the fist two shots of Xolair. My doctor downplayed this on Wednesday, after my 4th shot, by saying it may go back to what it was. My testing this past time was the highest it has ever been at 80% of a normal person without asthma. I choose to think this is significant because it has never been that high. My worst was at 66%! > > ________________________________ > > From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Becker, > Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2007 11:25 AM > > Subject: [ ] Side effect? > > > > I was wondering if anyone experiences being very thirsty after receiving > the shot.
