Guest guest
I have returned from my trip to National Jewish Hospital. I had offered to ask questions about Xolair. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to do so because they determined immediately that I should no longer recieve Xolair so I had no opportunity to discuss the ramifications of taking it. I recieved excellent care and am finally on my way to getting better. I look forward to that happy day in 7 weeks when I am finally off steroids for good. Going to NJC was very very difficult. It was a huge sacrifice for my family. But it was so worth it. If anyone has the opportunity to go there or one of the other excellent specialty hospitals I would encourage you to do it. If you are really sick and have had it, I would encourage you to make an opportunity to go. It was enormously helpful to have a broad spectrum of specialists working together and combining all the information to focus on why I couldn't breathe. Since I am no longer on Xolair, I am also leaving this group. You are an amazing group of people providing a wonderful service to one another. I have only struggled badly for this last year. I know many of you have fought this for many years. I am sorry for your stuggles and am inspired by the strength and good humor so many of you have shown. I wish you all well. I hope that Xolair gives you the lives you deserve.
