Guest guest
Sinuses and lungs are both airways. Inflammation in one may lead to inflammation in the other. For me, it usually starts in my sinuses and then works its way down to my lungs. It may start in the lungs for other folks. I have huge inflammatory issues and terrible allergic sinus disease, so 9.5 times out of 10, my asthma episode will be triggered by sinuses. Also, mucus in the sinuses can drain straight to the lungs and cause asthma episodes that way. As for me, I saw improvement in my asthma first, and it took a little longer to see improvement in my allergic sinuses from Xolair. But I've had huge improvement in my allergic sinus disease thanks to xolair.
