Guest guest
I have a suggestion. Why don't you expand the poll to also ask the same question for those who have been primarily on inhaled steroids with little actual exposure to prednisone. That would apply to me and I have many of the same symptoms typical of steroid exposure. Also, you might add one more side affect many of us have struggled with, psychiatric (or mental health) symptoms, however you would want to phrase it. As you and I have experienced, psychiatric experiences are common during steroid treatment. Fran > > > Enter your vote today! Guest guest
I think that's a good idea too. For about 8 years I've had very little oral steroid - mostly just Advair which I understand has a significant amount of inhaled steroid. Also, might consider using the word " steroid " as I've not taken prednisone. Instead I took aristocort (triamcinolone) due to even greater intolerance to prednisone. Maybe you could put " prednisone " in parentheses if that would help some to identify what steroid can mean. We hear about steroids on the news re sports enhancing drugs and of course we're talking about something different on this board. --- In , " tiredofsteroids " <sitesee@...> wrote: > > I have a suggestion. Guest guest
is this a joke? When I posted about my pet hedgehog being a nice pet for asthmatics because they had no dander, I was politely told no pet promotions. I refer to them as my service animals, for when I hold them if I don't stay relaxed and control my breathing they can sense it and they SPIKE up! __________________________________________________ I am sorry, I did not remember that request. If my new poll bothers you I will be happy to remove it immediately. Please accept my most humble apologies. Doug Group founder
Guest guest
I, too, thought this new poll about the Chihuahua was a joke. We have never had pets, except for fish, in our house. We have had dogs, and one cat, but they were all outside animals. I cannot be in a house with a cat without suffering asthma after I leave. And I didn't see how it connected with the xolair.......
