Guest guest
There is a study out (about three years old now) that the atmospheric mold levels rise PRIOR to the onset of thunderstorms and remain high for some time period following the end of the storm. This jives with my personal experiences. I also experience painful chest tightness about two days after a hurricane comes ashore. I am a better predictor than the weather channel. As the barometric pressure starts to go down, my chest goes with it. I had one bad experience and had to get a battery operated neb, b/c we lost electricity in advance of the worst of the storm and I was in bad shape. As soon as the hurricane passes, however, my lungs improve immensely (but then my sinuses go to heck from the molds).
