Guest guest
Hi, I had to doctor two cats. One had leukemia per the vet and was cured by capsules of herbs for cleansing and immune stimulants. It was too weak to walk or eat. It was fairly easy to hold him by the nape of his neck and open his mouth to push capsules down. The other one had a very serious respiratory infection and would have died without intervention. I really didn't know until the treatment was over how it would end. I had to give this cat pills every day and it had it's claws intact. I wrapped it in a towel, around and around until it looked like a straight jacket, then grasped her head at the nape, opened it's mouth and dropped the pills in as far as possible, then tapped it on the nose (gently), so it would swallow. After the 3rd or 4th day, it stopped resisting very much and accepted her fate. She lived over the pills. I can't remember the name of the illness but it was a deadly one. Baugh ********************** DOGS: 1. Wrap pill in bacon. OMG! LOL! This is sooo true. The precious li'l thing is standing right here on my computer table brushing up against me, but if my hand even goes near that dropper bottle watch out!!!! You can fool dogs with meds everytime and it's so easy. Cats are one jump ahead of ya! I managed to get one drop of tincture down him and he made me feel like I was committing animal abuse!
