Guest guest
On a scale of 1 to 10, this is a 1. I was looking forward to the results. I to have been told, several times, that Chihuahua's are good for asthma. I recently had my house re-roofed, the contractor has asthma and takes his Chihuahua with him every place he goes, said I should get one. I took the opportunity to explain Xolair to him. I have a large " drop off mutt " that the Dr said I was allergic to, he asked if I could get rid of it. I explained that the wife and I had a long, calm, and enlightening discussion about getting rid of the dog, She said she was going to miss me! The DR stated, OH.... and put me on Xolair, go figure. Guest guest
Dear Doug: I had never heard that Chihuahua's help asthmatics. I was not offended--I just thought it was a joke, mainly because of some of the choices. If other asthmatics have Chihuahua's it would be interesting to see if they help--I wonder why someone would take the dog with them everywhere--is there something about their coat that absorbs allergens in the air--maybe something like an airplane plant that puts oxygen in the air and supposedly helps to purify air in a home? Just asking. By the way--I had my xolair shot last week and two days before, I started the hacking cough--now have a productive cough, but have had some sob. Am going to my allergist tomorrow. This is the first episode of this kind I have had since starting xolair over a year ago. And it has not turned into an infection, so I guess it is not as bad as before. I do apologize and hope my response was not the reason the poll was removed. Maybe it could have been worded a little better? HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ALL. Since the group settings allow only group moderator to create polls, I had been thinking of asking the group if I could create polls for them. Now I realize this would be a bad idea. Once again, my deepest apologies. Your humble group founder. Doug __________________________________________________
