On a scale of 1 to 10, this is a 1. I was looking forward to the

results.

I to have been told, several times, that Chihuahua's are good for

asthma. I recently had my house re-roofed, the contractor has asthma

and takes his Chihuahua with him every place he goes, said I should

get one. I took the opportunity to explain Xolair to him. I have a

large " drop off mutt " that the Dr said I was allergic to, he asked if

I could get rid of it. I explained that the wife and I had a long,

calm, and enlightening discussion about getting rid of the dog, She

said she was going to miss me! The DR stated, OH.... and put me on

Xolair, go figure.

Dear Doug:

I had never heard that Chihuahua's help asthmatics. I was not offended--I

just thought it was a joke, mainly because of some of the choices. If other

asthmatics have Chihuahua's it would be interesting to see if they help--I

wonder why someone would take the dog with them everywhere--is there something

about their coat that absorbs allergens in the air--maybe something like an

airplane plant that puts oxygen in the air and supposedly helps to purify air in

a home? Just asking.

By the way--I had my xolair shot last week and two days before, I started the

hacking cough--now have a productive cough, but have had some sob. Am going to

my allergist tomorrow. This is the first episode of this kind I have had since

starting xolair over a year ago. And it has not turned into an infection, so I

guess it is not as bad as before.

I do apologize and hope my response was not the reason the poll was removed.

Maybe it could have been worded a little better?

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ALL.

Since the group settings allow only group moderator to create polls, I

had been thinking of asking the group if I could create polls for them.

Now I realize this would be a bad idea.

Once again, my deepest apologies.

Your humble group founder.

Doug
