Guest guest
in my opinion, your new pulmonologist is acting responsibly. I especially like the concern about the beta antagonist and heart problems... I was recently switched from high blood pressure medicine after being on a beta blocker for five years to a calcium blocker now that they know that it is not good for asthmatics. My primary care who treats my high blood pressure made the change based on the recommendation from these specialists. I go to an allergist for my xolair because he is a few miles from me, but I still see the same pulmonologist I have had for twelve years that referred me to the allergist to qualify me for Xolair. I recently encountered a woman who lost her 47 year old asthmastic husband to a heart attack from sleep apnea. There are so many other things contributing to asthma that a good doctor will want to explore all avenues. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Building a website is a piece of cake.
