Guest guest
Maple pollen is high now and my house is bathed in a plume of the stuff from a tree at the corner of our house. I worked right under the tree much of the weekend getting lawn tractors ready for the mowing season. No problem so far! Last year, just six months into my Xolair reginmen, I was hit hard by the maple pollen and had to go on Prednison. That was my last dose of Prednisone ,though. Since I'm still taking Advair and Spiriva and Zyrtec my mouth is dry as the desert at night. Lacking sufficent saliva due to these drugs, as my dentist explains, bacteria are having a feast in my mouth and my teeth are rotting. I hope to start kicking some of the other drugs over the summer but it won't be easy since I came to depend on these drugs before Xolair. I have kicked Unipyl, which was making me sick, and don't really miss it. It really helped in the beginning but now I'm ok without it.
