Guest guest
Trying Metal-Free currently and we are about to do a fecal metals test. I will let you know how it goes. Guest guest
I have read that Metal-Free is simply PCA-Rx, waterred down and sold for much the same price. If your test goes well you may want to check out this info and consider switching products. > Trying Metal-Free currently and we are about to do a fecal metals test. I will let you know how it goes. Guest guest
Tried metal free for about two months on weekends only. Improved cognitive function right away and neurofeedback sessions were much better on these days. After about six weeks seemed to plateau and we stopped. Did do a pre and post fecal metal test and only saw very little increase in metals excretion, another reason we stopped. Peggy > POLL QUESTIONS: > > 1. Guest guest
I have been using PCA-Rx on my son. The first time I gave it, I tried 4 sprays 1/2 hour before breakfast. When it came time to eat, he would not pick up his spoon or banana but was indicating that he wanted to eat. He was still acting this way at lunch, but not to the same extent. I skipped the next day and did not see a problem. The next day, I gave 3 sprays 1/2 hour before breakfast and saw the same " reaction " , but it did not last until lunch. It shouldn't have done, unless of course you had yeast/bacteria issues after using it. I remember being told that you must treat/guard against yeast with it. Not that it is a terrible yeast feeder, but something about chelation (of all types) appears to require some help in that area. marti
Guest guest
One idea would be that during chelation, although the body burden of mercury is not eliminated, the mercury is CIRCULATING (thus not settled) so temporarily the symptoms are lessened.....i.e., although circulating mercury is a bad thing, it could be a good thing because if it is circulating it can't be attached to receptors and doing damaged. When chelation stopped, the circulating mercury that had not been excreted yet would then settle back. Just a theory. > But here's the question....why did the good behaviour go away? Some people use PCA-RX with other chelators with success, which you could take as an indication of the above. Guest guest
My son was using it from November thru December last year. At this time I was seeing the good behaviors, etc. I stopped for about a month and the benefits started wearing off. I then added it back in about a month later and tried giving 8 sprays a day spaced out. I did this for three days straight and saw great things--greeting and hugging his aunt, actually getting startled at loud noises (like he had never " heard " the phone before), exploring more, calling his aide over, initiating, etc but he started getting dark circles under his eyes. Jake is allergic to everything, so I did not want to push it with the 8 sprays and I went back down to 4 every other day (basically). The amazing thing was that the day after the 3 days of intense dosing were incredible....now that I am going back and reading my notes, it make me want to do the " high " dose spaced out again--like " Andy's Protocol " . Maybe I will.... [ ] POLL QUESTION > > > POLL QUESTIONS: > > 1. Have you tried PCA-RX, NDF, or Metal-Free? > > 2. If so, what were the results? Guest guest
No daily BM's? Big problem in my house if Nicky's constipation. The whole works kind of fall apart. here's what I do: Tons of water, as much as an ounce of water for every pound of child, but do keep up salt/mins if you get into the mega water! And NOTHING with the water. Just water. I spoon it into him while he's watching tv. Yes, I'm pretty much having no fun doing this, but it gets results. Lots of Vit C Keep up with Magnesium (mag citrate is good for constipation, but i've been wanting mag glycinate for other reasons and may use that as well) to 200 mg plus if constipated. Prune juice. Just take some prunes, dump on some boiling water, wait. Then use that juice. Put the prunes in cookies, too. If all else still fails, I'd go for lactulose (well, I can't now because I've got him on the SCD) but that stuff is great. We get it over the counter here in the UK. Guest guest
Marti-- I actually started the DMSA/ALA " Andy's Protocol " and I think the gut bugs took over. I am still battling it now, but still plan on doing DMSA until he starts having daily BMs again. I am using the PCA-Rx now and am seeing the benefits even though I think gut bugs are present... Guest guest
Yes that was what I was thinking am sure some is coming out but when I do the occasional round with DMSA/ALA I think it picks up the loose stuff - maybe - just a guess it kind of works well for us. Maybe I should do a low dose DMSA/ALA a bit more often just to make sure. Our schedule is kind of loose - but PCA - 2 sprays each evening everyday - and about 6 weekly 3 days DMSA/ALA schedule with no PCA on those days. Guest guest
Yep better than when we used to just do DMSA/ALA alone. Guest guest
hi- i have bc/bs and know what the bs stands for and i dont mean blue shield if you catch my drift. they say it is educational and the schools responsibility after 2 appeals, we got a waiver. my son josh was diagnosed with a severe to profound speech language disorder at 3.5, apraxia, sid, mild hypotonia, he has been going to therapy for 1.5 years and has changed dramatically, he had 1 word, no expressive speech and was unable to do daily activities of living like take a bath, change his clothes, we had to take his clothes off at night and wash them, he had huge behavioral issues, the insurance company doesnt want to pay for anything, ours will not pay for anything preventative either, i have a nursing degree and enormous respect for the medical community and am just embarrassed at their inability to support people with dissabilities, every year our insurance goes up by 600 dollars a year- my son is living proof that therapy can and has helped - bc and bs allows 1000 a year- it is a croc- charlotte henry
Guest guest
Sandy, honey, I have had sores in my nose and in my mouth and constant eye infections...most have gone now. When you had your nose done, did the doctor use silicone? I have seen these surgical procedures and in some cases they do use silicone! The fatigue is something that most of us suffer from and the numbness too. My right leg was numb for many years, and I too suffer from pain. Have you been tested for R/A and or lupus? I have never been tested for MSH, but I will ask my doctor to do this test the next time I see him. I am so sorry that you are having so many problems, but you will get better. Sending love to you...........Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` poll question How often should we have this re-checked ? MSH Level - 24 {last year} Fatigue Nobody can wake me at times Unknown Particles Inside my nose everyday Actually looks like clear plastic My physician does not know what it is and never saw anything like this before. I did have a nose job in my younger days I believe it's implant related. Intestinal Yeast Overgrowth Looks like I am pregnant Partially crippled Can barely bend or dress myself Fybromyalgia, Agony in legs and lower back Numbness In Buttocks I am going to order Fungal Defense and work on getting an Ionic Foot Bath These doctors/surgeons are clueless, They get the big bucks for being clueless ?? If it was up to doctors/surgeons I was in very bad shape with the implants It felt like I was going into a vegetable state sort of losing touch with everyone around me The doctors insisted my implants were very safe It took me three years but I saved my own life I would have died a mysterious death for sure and been buried with.... The evidence ===> Breast Implants Sandy Patty, What would you think about creating a poll of those who have had their MSH levels tested? I am wondering how many with low MSH have similar neurological symptoms.Just a thought, thanks,Beth

Guest guest
Rogene, Yes call this number and tell them she is out of country, she has to have a regular doctor to work with her... 1(770)390-0012 is the number to call..... See if they can get a phone consult to have them relate info to her doctor? I don't know why do they not have a labcorp in that country? Wow we need to figure that issue out, I am wondering if no labcorp if any other place that has that test in another country could do this, it is a blood test so time related issue I am sure? Wonder if Memphis Laboratory does MSH... I will check around, in the mean time maybe try to call that number above..... Good Luck ~AOL now offers free email to everyone.
