Guest guest
IgE tests are reasonably reliable - the problem is the amount of IgE in one's body can fluctuate greatly depending on a number of factors. I had an IgE score of 585 when I started with my current allergist/pulmo about 8 years ago; after two years of allergy shots he wanted to see if my IgE was down, but it had gone up to nearly 800. Do air purifiers help you b/c you have a major dust allergy? Or are you sensitive to particulate matter but not necessarily allergic to it? It might be worth getting another IgE test during the spring pollen season. Just a thought. Addy Group co-owner > > I took an IGE test and had a score of 19, which u know is extremely > low. Guest guest
Yeah, the IGE test did pick up dust mites and mold. What do you mean by being sensitive to a particulate but not allergic to it? What's the difference? > > > > I took an IGE test and had a score of 19, which u know is extremely > > low.
