Better to be safe than sorry. > > Doug > Group founder Originally I did call the allergist, and he told me to go to the ER, which I did. ERs around here don't take reactions serious unless 1) you are turning blue 2)covered with hives (even then, you still might be waiting for a long long time. I get the immediate runs (I know TMI) and blood pressure drop, itchy throat and mouth with the food reactions. No real wheezing (so no ana reaction according to the ER) or throat closing. This drives my alllergist crazy, because you can't judge what the next reaction could be. Anyhoo, have 3 more days of pred. Sigh...allergics suck.
