Thank you for posting this. I just began Xolair; if I get benefits

like other users in this group, I'll endure any joint pains. An

improvement in breathing, thus lifestyle, will be so welcomed.

one of the posts mentioned bone necrosis, what kind of

doctor would I go to for diagnosis? About five years

ago I popped my right knee and came down and struck my

left elbow. For months I couldn't straighten out the

arm, pt really helped and I regained full use and it

has been fine for over five years but about a month

ago it started to hurt REALLY BAD and now hurts all

time time, when I take a cup to my mouth to drink... I

can't lift a pitcher of juice or stir a pot with a

spoon. I have been on steroids constantly the past

two years and the pain is not going away even though

this week I'm on 60 mg and that should have dealt with

any inflammation. I am worried - what are the signs of

being septic (spelling) and why did this elbow start

to hurt me again a month ago? Luckily this pain was

bad before I start my xolair on July 17th.

Joy, it's not possible to know what's going on without an exam and x-

rays. You need to see either your primary or your orthopedist ASAP,

whoever can get you in first. Please call right away to make the

appointement.
