Guest guest
" In love with love " -Debbie Harry " Love to Love you baby " -Donna Summer Amen, sister! You gotta love a holiday dedicated to love! It's so refreshing to hear someone who actually likes Valentines day. I'm so sick of hearing bitter, cynical comments about holidays- " It's too commercial, blah, blah, blah. " , " Hallmark created it to sell more cards, blah, blah, blah. " , " It's just another day,why should it make any difference, blah, blah, blah " . I love all holidays. I'm wearing red,by the way. Anya <mccoy@...> wrote: Definitely one of my favorite holidays, right up there with Birthdays. I hope you have a lovely time today, if not in love, dreaming of love, because being in a receptive state is more than half way there ;-) I think I'll make a special blend tonight, not a full-on perfume, something back in the day we'd call an aromatherapy blend, lol. Rose otto (damascena), Rose absolute (centifolia), ylang, ambrette seed, vetiver, clementine, sandalwood (the real stuff, from my private stash), combined in my very sexy ambergris-infused virgin organic coconut oil. Wow~ that's the ticket. This would work well as a massage blend. Have fun, wear red! Guest guest
Hi nna, happy Valentine's Day to you too. I'm so glad it seems you did have a happy one :-) I have a suggestion for the tooting and stickers: maybe your dd could get a sticker each day she *doesn't* report on this. It's a fair assumption that she passes gas at least once each day LOL. That way she gets her " credit " AND she doesn't have to basically do the compulsion (confessing) to get it. You could congratulate her each night at bedtime for each day that goes by with no reports. Don't forget to try to have some fun/humor with this one, it seems tailor made :-) A whoopee cushion would provide lots of exposure and maybe some laughs at " stupid " OCD too. People need to rejoice every way they can, for whatever reason. I got so busy yesterday I didn't make a special blend! So, I'll chalk that up to my only disappointment re: the holiday. Well, Liz, hate to break it to you, but maybe you should stop expecting them! Do you give him one? Do anything special? Hey, spring the money for massages for both of you, in a romantic setting. Something, girl, you have to light the fire! >Consider yourself slapped with a wet red rose , and count your >stars that you TP'ed on a Valentines Happy Holiday - any other day an >it would have been a wet kipper...Or a scent strip soaked in...hum- >mm...What would your least favorite scent to be slapped with >(synthetics firmly excluded!) be? Guest guest
Anya, I AGREE " bah humbug to cynicism! " Life is tough enough that we need to make our own happliness... and holidays. And, frankly, I don't mind givng or receiving a Hallmark on any occassion! Anya, even if you didn't make your own special blend, I DID and enjoyed every moment of it! Thanks!
