They tell me I should be out in 24 hours if everything goes okay. Thanks to all of you for answering my questions and sharing your experiences with me. I feel more comfortable going into this better informed. A special thanks to Doug Parsons for the phone call. See you all on the other side. Chet cgunther1@... Guest guest
Hi Mike, What a bummer about the fridge. Sounds like your wife is looking out for you though! Best to you on your first X shot! Wishing you an awesome breathing future! Laurie mikeday67 <mikeday1967@...> wrote: Hi, just a quick note to let you know that I am going to have my first injection tomorrow. It should have been last Tuesday but when we got there they explained that the hospital fridge had broken down during the night so they could not use the drug. Gloria (my wife) was really upset, I don't think either of us had realised how worked up we were. Still tomorrow is the big day. By the way the doctor made us sign an indemnity waver because the dose he proposes to use is higher than the approved limits. Due to the high level of Ige and my weight. Fingers crossed. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, Just got back from my first injections. Everything went fine. Your right about Gloria, without her I'm sure I would have been in the ground by now. Thanks for your kind words. I hope this is the start of a bright future. Cheers Mike > > Hi, just a quick note to let you know that I am going to have my first > injection tomorrow. I fondly remember my first shots in 2003. I was so hoping I would be one of the few who get relief quickly but sadly, I was not. Took me a year and I almost quit but my doctor talked me into staying on it. Now, I am glad I did Here is hoping you are one of those who get relief fast Doug Group founder
