Guest guest
Neal is now taking Xolair every 6 weeks. He still has not had to use ANY medications for his asthma. He received Xolair at the age of 11 in 2003 when it was approved. He is now a healthy 16 year old! ----- Original Message ---- From: uca79iii <uca79iii@...> Sent: Monday, September 1, 2008 5:27:55 PM Subject: [ ] HAPPY BIRTHDAY XOLAIR Xolair was approved by the FDA 20 2003 and the 5th anniversary of this group is September 15. Guest guest
overall, Xolair has cut down on ER and hospital stay overs few bumps in the road but I'd be far worse without this drug Kudos From: uca79iii <uca79iii@...> Subject: [ ] HAPPY BIRTHDAY XOLAIR Date: Monday, September 1, 2008, 8:27 PM Xolair was approved by the FDA 20 2003 and the 5th anniversary of this group is September 15. Guest guest
At last I had proof that my mind-boggling headaches (so-called chronic daily headaches) were actually allergy sinus headaches. After about 8 months on Xolair the headaches disappeared by about 85% and I went from around 180 mgs every day of pseudoephedrine to maybe 60 mgs once every 10 to 14 days. Despite catscans and MRIs that showed signs of inflammation and infection, it took the enormous improvement on Xolair to really prove it! > > Xolair was approved by the FDA 20 2003 and the 5th anniversary of this > group is September 15. > > In honor of these anniversaries, we would like to ask our members to > share what GREAT things that xolair and or this group have done for > you in these past 5 years. > > Thank you friends for making this group one of the BEST health groups > on . > > Doug > Group founder >
Guest guest
I have had the same experience. I have received apologies from any number of ENTs who've said they can't do anything for me. Even though the Mayo Clinic says some ridiculously high percentage of sinusitis is fungal, I never had any fungus. I have coined the term Severe Allergic Sinus Disease, b/c of the severity and frequency of symptoms - near daily moderate to severe headaches with no contributory cause other than allergic inflammation. I have also had great improvement in this area thanks to Xolair. Of course, I still get " weather " headaches, like the one I have to day which is telling me that Hanna is headed our way.
