The mold messed up my sinuses so bad (despite the Xolair definitely

helping a lot there) that I had to resort to pseudoephedrine again.

I used to take 120 - 240 mgs a day (24 hours) because the sinus

headaches were so bad. That tells me, as well as the tests, that I'm

hypersensitive to molds.

But, for the chain reaction discovery ... a side effect ... I noticed

urinating more after taking the pseudoephedrine. It suddenly dawned

on me ... I had a urinary tract infection in March - first time in 30

years. I started cutting back on pseudophedrine in late Dec. or

Jan. The diuretic effect was gone because I didn't need

pseudoephedrine as much and rarely took it! So, Xolair did not cause

the UTI, it just obliviated the need for pseudoephedrine which in

turn reduced the amount and frequency of urination !!!!
