Has anyone been declared disabled or unemployable due to asthma? I was medically retired from the military due to asthma and I am seeking SSDI. Sincerely, Chris P.S., anyone living the Phoenix area? Guest guest
Yes. I was no longer able to work due to asthma. I was/am taking all kinds of meds including Xolair. They did not even fight it, I figured they would as they do in 80% of the cases., I was very surprised. " normally " they turn you down, you appeal, they accept you. I live in Oklahoma but SS is federal so it should not matter. When I put in for it, I was 60 years old, unknown if that influenced their decision.
