Guest guest
Reid, I also live in Jersey and I have been a mess. I was showing GREAT improvement, but the last two weeks have been horrible!!! Maybe it is the weather change that is affecting us. Feel better,
Guest guest
when i was working there were three of us who have chronic lyme and it seemed like we always felt crappy at the same time......during weather changes.......now there are just two of us left .......the one died of lyme related problems at 31 years old.....its a long story but lyme and the problems it causes can kill........ Guest guest
Hi Reid and everybody, I was wondering how people die of chronic lyme? I am not asking for the story of your coworker, I was just wondering about the compications that have happened to people with the late stage. I was told that those who are at risk, are people who's heart is affected. Are there more types of risk? I hope I didn't upset you with my question. Thank you KAREN
Guest guest
Reid can you elaborate on what the problem was that caused him to die?? I would really appreciate it. Hugs Amy
Guest guest
Actually, karen, my condition was upgraded to " life threatening " last May, ehrn I developed chronic pulmonary embolisms and a clotting factor in my blood. My doctor told me she was seeing more and more of that in chronic Lyme patients. But of course suicide remains the biggest and most serious risk! Guest guest
Hi Reid, Fortunately my Lyme is not getting worse with this gorgeous fall weather, I suffer most when it is humid out (not to mention my hair...LOL!). I enjoyed watching my husband work outside yesterday, for once I could sit on the deck and not have to go in after a few minutes....but lots of bees out now for some odd reason, and they make me nervous. I hope you feel better real soon, does your condition improve once the weather changes and stays? I hope so, Hugs, Marta NJ >From: RMcmur3194@... > >arghhhh.....the lovely weather we have been having on the east coast will be >the death of me yet.....whenever it changes i die and its that time of >year.....i hate fall and spring .....the atmospheric changes get to me to and >the rain well its down right depressing.....oh well....just had to vent >......some of u may be able to relate....people use to think i was nuts about >this but have found nemerous lymies that feel this way also.....love to all >Reid
Guest guest
I love this forum! I do not mean to be Pollyanish but prior to checking here every day I was thinking my observations were " strange " , my physical and emotional reactions were " strange " (OK, the emotional is strange but I'm still on 20 mg of Evil Candy, LOL), and I had no support. People here seem to care, have been there done that, complain a whole lot less then I do with bigger problems then I have. Xolair has given me my life back, even though I am still on all my medications (everything is relative), and this forum keeps me grounded in reality. I wish to thank you all and I do draw strength from you all. Guest guest
Addy, My asthma has acted up in the last few days. I am back on 40mgs of predisone and nebulizing every 4 hours. I am due for my next shots, I get two shots every two weeks. I think that part is the barometer and the constant change of weather outside and inside every one or most in my home are always cold so the place is over heated for me. The other day I was at the reception desk and someone came in from outside and was concerned about the color of my face. It was beet red. I new something was wrong and I was coughing and did not sleep well the night before. I turned one thermostate down and the other that was just a steaming I left alone because there was a sign that said not to move. I see my doctor on Wednesday. So will get my shot and see if I can go down. So will see. Guest guest
, I have my achy moments....but when I really notice a big uptick in achiness in my low back and hips inevitably, a day or two later, I am down with a virus. I think our weakest areas can give us that kind of warning! I hope you feel better soon....after all....its not like its going to really warm up for awhile.
