Guest guest
everytime i've ever had my chest " itch " was when i had bronchitis, sometimes it was hard to tell since i wasn't coughing up anything i just hacked and wheezed and had asthma symptoms. might be a thought. although my docs say it's not possible, i've gotten bronchitis after a few days of really bad asthma episodes...not sure if my lungs just got tired or what happened. just a thought. ...still an allergic mess with no asthma symptoms (thank you Xolair) --- In , " azwildcat59 " <azwildcat59@...> wrote: > > I have been on Xolair 150 mg evry 4 weeks for over three years and for > the past two years I have been virtually symptom free of asthma. Guest guest
Xolair is not the kind of med that " helps " an urgent response like an inhaler does. It is not uncommon for serious asthmatics to have episodes like the one you've described and then have a twitchy chest for several weeks following initial exposure or an infection. You might talk to your doc about stepping up the inhaled steroids so that you can step down the oral ones. That's part of my treatment plan.
