Guest guest
We are having incredibly high pollen counts and then last night a terrible thunder storm (releasing all those mold spores). I woke up around 5am with my right eye almost swollen shut and my whole face inflamed. 40mg pred and all the rest and I'm about 50% better and feeling very medicated and miserable. I havae an antibiotic on hand. If no further improvemetn tomorrow I'll have to start that. Sigh. Addy Group co-owner

I was bragging how I haven't used Albuterol in about 2 weeks; the Eczema was the best I've seen; and WHAM! I'm flaring, too. Used the A yesterday and this A.M. If I'm correct, we all live in different states. And, I'm due for shots tomorrow and as I mentioned last week, still haven't received my next dose thanks to my (expletive deleted) insurance company. Hope it's delivered by tomorrow or at end of week. Would they do that to a Diabetic? Marie
Guest guest
Oh, goodness, that sounds serious, especially anything around the face and neck. We use air conditioning which helps. I would just about die if I had to live w/windows open although it would be nice to feel less isolated. Can you use an air purifier? Would an antihistamine help for short term? Ironically, at about the same time (very early Sun am) I woke up with an asthma attack after trying to wean myself (only one night) from Advair. It didn't work. Not only that but about simultaneously I developed an apparent bladder infection and want only to run to the bathroom. Very uncomfortable and nerve wracking. I assume that I didn't drink enough water ... wonder if allergies have anything to do with it? This is the first time in 25 years. I had to cancel a job interview as a result. Gotta run down the hall again .... --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. I'm on my 2nd round of antibiotics - one for a resp infection and now a sinus infection. I hope you don't mind if I sigh with you Hope you feel better pyle456 <coachmac@...> wrote: We are having incredibly high pollen counts and then last night a terrible thunder storm (releasing all those mold spores). Guest guest
Thanks, and everyone. I gave in and started Levaquin today. I've been awake pretty much since Sunday (thanks, Prednisone). I don't know why I didn't start L earlier - plain stubbornness, I guess. My face is still on fire. No lung issues as yet. Plenty of PND tho. I am taking a load of guifanesin and sudafed to try to get the stuff moving. Altogether now --- SIGH.
