nausea and taste change with pred

Hi!

So all of us have battled the evil pred. I think there

should be a rule about two ppl in the same family

being on it at once. Should not be allowed.

I seem to recall someone posted re: nausea and taste

change while on pred. I never had it but my mom who is

like on 12.5 mg a day is very nauseated and has a

nasty taste in her mouth. She thinks its from the

phelegm she is hacking up (she is copd recovering from

a pneumonia) but I am at a loss as what to do since

she really can't afford to lose weight. She is on

nystatin for fungus but it is not super crazy at the

moment (unlike her kid who is evolving life at the

back of her throat....). The nausea seems to come and

go.

Any ideas or remedies you want to share??
