I dont' get gas as a result of eating raw garlic or onions.

On the other hand, eating nuts -- even soaked nuts, can cause me

intestinal cramps, abdominal pain, and gas, if I eat too many of

them...

Regularly, we eat ( my husband and I ) a HUGE salad for dinner,

lately, made of cabbage, an entire onion chopped up, about five big

cloves of strong garlic, a little bit of olive oil and lemon juice

and some lentil sprouts and tomatoes. This has never caused me any

upset stomach or gas. But eating nuts in much less quantity, even if

they are soaked and draing ( i.e. sprouted such as almonds ) can

cause me intestinal cramps and gas

Peace,

Cathie
