Guest guest
I might start a poll with this question, but figured I would go this way first. Before I started Xolair, I was on a low dose of inhaled corticosteroids for about 20 years. Prior to that time, I was only put on prednisone when I had complications with my asthma from a cold or flu virus. That occurred maybe 5-6 times from the ages of 14-28. I had no ridiculous reactions to allergens, and yet I was atopic. The question is before people in this group went on Xolair, how many were on daily Prednisone (or some other oral corticosteroid) and/or an inhaled corticosteroid? I have been on Xolair for about 5 months, and while I am still mildly atopic, I don't use any inhaled corticosteroids and I have used my rescue inhaler about 2-3 times.
