Thanx Don. I've saved this info to my computer. I was just trying to

avoid spending money on any books and such for now, just need a recipe,

and the girls have given me one. But your knowledge is always appreciated

and filed for future usage.

Normally liquid soaps use potassium hydroxide and solid soaps use sodium

hydroxide. You can get " Making Natural Liquid Soaps " by Failor

which goes into quite a bit of detail about making liquid soaps and

shampoos, also covers gels.
