Guest guest
facebook, myspace....I suppose I could see ins point of view, but personal e-mails. Big brother has their hand in every cookie jar. Paranoia comes to mind I know as a teacher, the Union won't back any teacher up if they have myspace or facebook. Teacher's are held at a higher level (Wish our salary would match but it doesn't so....) Teachers have gotten fired for having accounts and interacting with students. When does interfering with personal lives through the back door end? Seems like privacy is nonexistent. Anyone see Enemy of the State? When I read this post (yesterday I Think), the wheels started going. Seeing this post today, I am not surprised at all. Makes me think perhaps they have an agent undercover in the group itself. Sorry if I sound like I am coming out of left field.Makes me wonder though uca79iii <bme1979@...> wrote: is right, you might want to be careful when posting in here or any other health group. Guest guest
I found that if I post from the group site, rather than my email, my full name doesn't appear. Also, if you have concerns about personal info online, just google yourself [doesn't that sound more interesting than it really is! *tee hee*] to see what's out there. Things I'd posted to the group using my full name did not show up when I tried it. > > is right, you might want to be careful when posting in here or > any other health group. Guest guest
Ok, here's the test. I'm posting from the message board rather than my email address. Let's see if my full name appears. > > > > is right, you might want to be careful when posting in here or > > any other health group. I could have set up the group to hide emails when I created it back in 2003 but I didn't even think about it. Kinda like Meads and the Persians in the Bible. Once a law is passed it can't be repealed. Sorry If insurance companies ARE watching this group, they HAVE to be members to get this info. Guest guest
It's no problem Doug. What I posted on this message board is in my medical records as well so BCBS would have had access to the info either way. It's good that my full name doesn't appear with I reply thru the board rather than email. Good to know. Thanks . uca79iii <bme1979@...> wrote: > > Ok, here's the test.
