Here is an update on activities related to the US Holocaust

Memorial Museum's Insights Series from last Thursday night,

when Harriet McBryde provided the Disability Rights

Perspective on the US Holocaust Memorial Museum's exhibition

" Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race " about Nazi medicine

and eugenics, as part of the Museum's Insights Series:

1) C-SPAN: Sunday Night, March 19 at 7 pm ET:

C-SPAN will broadcast the interview with Ms. by

USHMM Director of Oral History Joan Ringelhheim - who was

thought provoking, wise, and very respectful of the

disability perspective. Ms. was just being her usual

brilliant self, but the impact was stunning!

Be sure to tune in!

2) CBS News Weekend Roundup with Dan Raviv:

Last weekend, Ms. was interviewed by Dan Raviv,

Producer/Host of the " CBS News Weekend Roundup " that was

broadcast over the CBS Radio Network. Here is the URL to

listen to that interview that occurs on the last five

minutes of the program:

When the MP3 icon appears, slide the play icon to the end

of the space, and you will hear her interview (last couple

of minutes of the hour).

3) USHMM Launches " Insights Talks " - Online Discussion:

This is our chance as a community to reframe and/or broaden

the disability perspective debate with a huge audience.

Anyone can comment. You don't have to have been at last

Thursday's event to participate. Just visit:

www.ushmm.org/insights - we encourage everyone to

provide feedback and insights.

4) Transcript of the Event:

For those of you not able to attend, the transcript of the

event can be found on the USHMM website. Hope you will catch

Ms. 's interview by Joan Ringelheim, the USHMM

Director of Oral History who did a superb job with her

thought provoking questions.
