Guest guest
I am a big History Channel Fan and according to their website there is a documentary airing Sunday March 26th at 9pm. The documentary is about the little people " Liliput " Troop of Pseudoachondroplasia dwarfs who survived the holocaust. Looks interesting. Standing Tall at Auschwitz Sunday, March 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT (60 min.) This is the incredible story of the Ovitz family, the largest dwarf family in the world, who performed music and plays throughout Central Europe before the Nazis imprisoned them in the concentration camp at Auschwitz. There, they came to the attention of Dr. f Mengele, the infamous Angel of Death who needed " odd " human beings for his twisted genetic research. Mengele let them live, but subjected them to painful medical tests, blood-taking, and constant measuring. In the end, the Ovitzes were only one of two families to survive Auschwitz intact – a result of their diminutive stature and the " goodwill " of the demonic Dr. Mengele.
