Guest guest
my daughter also had a reaction to the pertussis when she received her first shot as a baby. They left it out on all future shots. I am now concerned because she always gets the flu shot(she is 17) but tested positive to thimersol which is in flu shots. I need to ck. to see if they any without. I am glad you are ok. jean ---- pyle456 <coachmac@...> wrote: > My GP gave me a pneumonia vaccine AND a tetanus vaccine that had > pertussis (whooping cough) in it on the same day. Guest guest
Addy, I agree whole heartedly. I've had the two pneumonia vaccines - 5 years apart as recommended - and believe they were a good thing. Since then I've had a bit less of the very long term (several months) of bronchitis/pneumonia or whatever. Re the tetnus ... my former pcp decided not to give it to me. I always feel terrible for several weeks afterward. I'm wary of vaccines now although I know they can also protect us against dreadful diseases. But, no need to trade one disease for another. Guest guest
I found that out the hard way, when I had the Pneumovax and flu shot at the same time. Found out I & #39;m anaphylactic to the flu shot. I shock (bp drops) instead of wheezing. Not fun, and if I get anymore vaccines, it will be one at a time.
