Guest guest
I hope they do put asmanex with serevent. I don't react well to flovent at all. I tried the 50/100 advair once. It caused a spasm. Pulmicort is pretty much ineffective. The best bet for me might be to get serevent from Mexico(I live only a few hours away). I doubt that they'll take Serevent off their market. -----Original Message----- From: pyle456 <jamcculloch2@...> Sent: Thu, 11 Dec 2008 6:13 pm Subject: [ ] Re: FDA, Advair, dark circles, House I'll bet the asmanex folks get with the serevent folks and they have a combo drug on the market within the year. You may want to talk to your doc about taking advair 50/100 PLUS asthmanex. When I'm in an episode, I take advair 50/500 (even more steroid) plus astmanex, so Advair 50/100 plus asmanex might be a good option for you after you can't get serevent any more. Serevent is the LABA in Advair (the " 50 " ). Addy Group co-owner not a doc. > > > > From: pyle456 <jamcculloch2@...> > > Subject: [ ] FDA, Advair, dark circles, House > > > > Date: Thursday, December 11, 2008, 1:12 PM > > > > While it is normally not the practice of this group to discuss drugs > > other than Xolair, I wanted to make sure you are all aware that the > > FDA is considering taking long acting beta agonists (SP????) off the > > market. Guest guest
exactly. they think they are the only ones with the bucks, the intelligence, and the what ever. if i wear well and single, i would not even date those guys. thanks to 5 locsl lung doctors and their pooh-poohing this glaring infection untreated for 3 years, all i ever do is neb, check blood sugars as a result of evil candy use for 3 years, and go around gasping like a fish. the i d doctor said to lighten up on those docs and i said never. instdesgn1 <instdesgn1@...> wrote: I saw that part of the episode - never heard of anyone using an emergency inhaler AROUND them like perfume!!!! Wonder how the writers ever came up with that? It was funny but " House's " self righteousness sometimes reminds me a bit too much of too many docs I really have known. And, they seemed to think that every patient has the same level of ignorance! > > Did anyone see the holiday episode of House with the patient who was > misusing her inhaler?
