I think the docs were saying to the FDA " don't pull the drugs off the market.

Trust us to give them to patients who know how to use them and we will train our

patients.... "

I still use ADVAIR although I am only using it once a day unless I have some

problems and then I will use it twice a day.  I am fortunate.  I never have any

problems at night.  I haven't taken serevent in many years.

Hope you do all right through this season.

I caught something briefly on tv today to the effect that they

recommended Seravant be removed from the market. This drives me

crazy. As I understand it, Seravent is in Advair ... I was so afraid

they'd pull Advair. Albuterol inhaler does not work for me any

more. I can not sleep through the night without Advair 500/50. In

fact, it would set me up for a more likely death in my sleep. I use

Advair twice a day.

Even many people on Xolair still have to use advair or Serevent so

it's not as though all of us can just jump ship to another med. I'm

not on Xolair since the govt, Genentech, and the clinic all decided

to require in-house injections despite sloppy nursing and

pharmaceutical practices.

Every drug is going to affect someone adversely and while I certainly

do not want to be one of those, I take what I can get. Hey, Docs,

keep your hands off my life saving meds or give me something else

that works (and that you don't even have).
