question on possible reaction

two questions...

first off, has anyone had something similar (i assume) to a hot flash

where it feels like your body is on fire and your face, ears, arms,

etc. turn bright red for awhile? i've had these on and off for years

but attributed to be highly allergic to the world and something or a

combo of things just overloading my system. am i right? anyone that

has had this gotten a definitive answer of what causes them?

second question, has anyone had a reaction (mild or moderate) to

xolair that caused them to have to stop taking it? i had one of the

above referenced hot flash type incidents within 5 minutes of getting

my shots this week and had to sit an extra 15-30 minutes to be sure i

was ok. i'm hoping it was just coincidental since i don't want to go

back to life without xolair and on prednisone full time. i'm

wondering if by chance it actually was to the xolair, will they just

pre-treat me with benadryl/zantac/etc. before and a day or so after

like they do for contrast dyes or will they stop it altogether?

any help would be greatly appreciated!
