Guest guest Posted July 4, 2008 Report Share Posted July 4, 2008 I went from having an average of about 8 infections a year (most ever was 11, least 5, usually 9) to only 2 or 3 a year now that I'm on Xolair. I have terrible inflammation issues, and Xolair has sufficiently stopped my allergic processes so that I don't get all inflamed and trap all that mucus and so on. I remember once pre-Xolair going to a new ent and describing my symptom level as a 2, 10 being the highest. I felt pretty good that day. He looked in my nose and said, " you describe this as being a two? " Apparently even on a good day I've got incredible levels of inflammation.
