Guest guest
As usual, it boggles the mind the insensitivity to the asthma/allergy issues I face within my own family. Knowing what I will face probably means I have no right to complain, so I will look at it as venting. (Thanks for reading ahead of time) Plug ins, fresh Christmas tress, various plants inside the home trigger the allergies, trigger the asthma. It sent me to the ER> Yet again. even the staff there tried explaining the difference between indoor and outdoor allergies and various triggers. The results: Scented and oil candles. Today, I will be staying home from work because I cannot breathe, thank the Lord I have a dr's appointment Once again, if I had a broken arm it would be easier to see and understand than having the allergic asthma
Guest guest
Im sorry you had to go to the ER because of the insensitivities of family and others around you. I have learned people just don't get how serious asthma and allergies can be. to them allergies are something you treat with some magic pill. my daughter has asthma and severe allergies that mostly effect her skin(hives, rash, severe itching) it ended her up in the ER on Thanksgiving for a full body break out. No one on my husbands side ask how she was and said to a mutual friend that she prob. had a panic attack because a rash wouldn't end up in the ER. fortunately my side of family gets it..probably because they seen my daughters skin go feom somewhat clear to full break out within minutes after coming into contact with an allergen. Thats why I am so happy to have found this and other groups...people who understand. Vent away thats why we are here. I hope you are feeling better and that the New Year brings some promise...even if it is getting a few more people to understand what we go through can be very serious. take care of yourself. Guest guest
My own wife can't understand why I can't take candles burning in the house but finally stopped after years of my suffering and having asthma attacks which she thought was all in my head ... just like a lot of world thinks. I used to have severe attacks from scents but somehow since being on Xoliar more than two years my airway sensitivity has reduced to where I can tolerate most scents a little bit. Usually now my lips just start to tingle and/or I wheeze a little when I used to go into an anaphylactic attack and struggle to breath. Too bad the fragrance industries aren't sued by the EPA to stop putting those horrible aerosols in products. Thankfully there are enough products without scents that my home is free of them but going to the mall or to the homes of friends or relatives has me reaching for the rescue inhaler. And people who dump perfume all over themselves have no idea how disgusting they are. --- In , " gigles_1955 " <fgigles55@...> wrote: > > Im sorry you had to go to the ER because of the insensitivities of > family and others around you.
