Commonly associated with phenol intolerance

http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm

Some people find that adding molybdenum helps with phenol issues.

Can also be associated with yeast

http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm

Iron deficiency can cause pale skin, which might cause the undereye

area to look dark.

Why do I feel as if I'm about to hear a commercial......?

[ ] Dark Circles Under Eyes

Carolyn, as I have said before dark circles under the eyes is a classic sign

in Chinese medicine of kidney deficiency. Thus the kidneys could be under

pressure from sudden toxicity which could be coming from the drug, the

candida, and even your contact solution. Check that solution to make sure it

does not contain thimerosal. Yes, in this medically insane world we live in

the stupid bastards even put mercury in many of the eye contact solutions

and have you put that right on the tip of your brain (eyes). Insane.

Taking diflucan of course is toxic, its a drug and a terrible way to go for

candida. Just what the body needs, more toxicty. Naturopathic methods are

incredibly superior here. You can contact me privately if you are interested

in that. But please do not be surprised if me saying that leads to your

receiving some mail warning you in earnest not to do that. There are some

people in this group who would rather see you sick than open up to trust

anything I say or might lead you to do.

Of course I could have sent this to you privately but I am not into hiding

or secrets or avoiding issues. Nor am I into manipulating situations just so

I get another client. For your individual sake I should probably have sent

this privately but I am responding to a public mailing of yours and under

normal conditions it calls for a public response. But the way I see things

destiny is destiny and if I have a destiny to work with someone that destiny

will happen no matter how many people huff and puff and try to blow the

house down. (If you are new to the group I had to say all of this

unfortunately for the last time I offered advice and private communication

this is exactly what happened. Sad but true.)

Those dark circles if pronounced are serious signs that you have to pay

attention to though. Anything that reflects to the kidneys is serious.

I've been having darking circle under my eyes, being really tired, in

addition to headaches, and achy legs. I don't know where to start.

My doctor has been having me take diflucan for the yeast/candida and

breaking it in half to make 20 days worth instead of taking the whole

tablets for 10 days. I'm on my 11th day of the diflucan. The only

other thing that has changed is I got contact lenses about 1 month and

1 week ago. I don't know if its yeast die off reactions, allergy to

diflucan, allergy to my contact lenses or solution, or something

else. My doctor's out of the office today.

before you get to that, if you are not trying to hype up the situation, you have

Dark circles under the eyes are a symptom of allergies. What's in your contact

lens solution? What's your diet like? What supplements, if any, are you

taking? Are you on prescription meds of any kind?

I went to acupuncture and was diagnosed with kidney deficiency.

I had very dark circles under my eyes that even make up didn't

cover it. After treatment I got color back to my skin, I was pale

white, and the dark circles went away.

Before that treatment I found nothing else to help solve my problem.

Just because dark circles can be caused by many things doesn't rule

My contact solution contains: sodium citrate, sodium chloride, boric

acid, sorbiitol, AMP-95, Tetronic 1304, with edetate disodium 0.05%,

PolyQuad (polyquaternium-1) 0.001% and ALDOX (myristamidopropryl

dimethylamine) 0.0005% as preservatives. Its Opti-Free Express by

Alcon.

My diets consists of mostly meat, potatoes, green beans, apples,

bread, ice cream, and I try to stay away from my food allergies, but

its hard.

I'm taking b6, zinc, magnesium, vitamin c, calcium, multi-vitamin,

coQ10, b-complex, flaxseed oil, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and

vitamin e.

The only prescription med I'm taking is the diflucan for

yeast/candida.

I'm a very strong believer in acupuncture. I get acupuncture once a

month and tomorrow's my session.

I have 9 days left of the diflucan, should I finish it or stop it?

I would finish the prescription if you don't think it is causing any

problems. Have you noticed that it is killing yeast? Are you experiencing

die-off? When I was on Nystatin, it took 2 weeks for me to kill anything.

However, I tried taking Dilfican and it made me feel awful. Felt like my

heart slowed down and my chest was in agony. Sitting up or laying down

didn't bring relief. I can't take that medication at all.

Get off the bread and ice cream. Some people have to stay off the potatoes

too. Potatoes were a friendly food for me, my yeast didn't bother it.

Yeast feeds

off of those carbs. You can eliminate many fruits too. The natural sugar

feeds yeast. It is possible to tolerate fruit that isn't fully ripe, like

a bit green

still and very crunchy.

When you have your next acupuncture visit. Ask about treating for your

dark circles. You will just get a few more needles popped into you and

I bet you feel much better.

My son had continuous dark cirles and was very tired until we took

gluten from his diet. Both those symptoms were gone within 48 hours.

I find he can tolerate gluten in small amounts every day or larger

amounts every other day or third day after being off it completely for

a year.

If their toxins, which I wouldn't be suprised, where's a list that

I came find info on each one of those? I called my eye doctor's

office and they said people aren't allergic to contact solution,

they have people that have seasonal allergies and that can cause

problems. This is my 3rd day without contacts and the achy legs and

headaches went away just about as fast as they came on. My dark

circles under my eyes aren't as large and I'm not as tired. I'm

going to continue and wait a couple of days and see if it goes away

totally. So if this contact solution is full of toxins which

solution isn't or are they all and you just simply don't wear

contacts?

My diagnoses is tourette syndrome, multiple allergies, and we'll be

starting chelation real soon for mercury and other heavy metals.

I'm starting with MB12 shots and in a month adding in tddmps. I'm

not coming here to get a diagnosis or treatment I'm coming here

for the same reason I thought everyone else is. To learn about

chelation, and other alternative methods, to talk to others going

through the same thing, and to get answers that doctor's won't tell

you.

As for my diet at this point, its either meat or I'm going to be

starving. I have undiagnosed sensory processing disorder. So at

this point its not wise for me to stop eating meat since I wouldn't

have anything else to eat. Sorry vegetarian is not possible for me,

I only will eat corn, green beans, potatoes, red apples without

peelings, and reg grapes. Out of those I'm allergic to corn, and

grapes. That wouldn't get me very far living on a vegetarian diet.

Diet is one of the hardest things for me with my oral sensitivity, I

so wish I could eat other things, its getting better with

alternative treatments gradually. In the past 10 months I've tried

more foods than I ever have before, but we're still not there yet.

So I try to eat as best as I can, but that's all I can do at this

point on my diet.

Brown rice makes me gag. So for now its out the door. Actually the

vitamins have made one of the biggest differences in my life. It

changed me from having very severe tourette's to moderate

tourette's. I got on this path after my parents tried just about

every single medication in the world. I'm 20 now and I'm very proud

of myself for what I have done to change my life. My own mother

doesn't support me and tells me everything I'm doing is a quack, so

I don't have the parent support I wish I could have on this, but it

doesn't stop me. That's why these sites are good.

I'm sorry maybe I made a mistake by taking diflucan, but we all make

mistakes. I'm learning just like everybody else. If diflucan is a

poison, then I guess I need prepared to know what to take when a ear

infection comes on or strep throat that isn't a poison because those

are going to happen.

Amazing about the contact solution.

You should try another brand before you give up on contacts all

together. I use a solution that is mainly hydrogen peroxide (which

bubbles away overnight to leave pure saline). It is called CIBA

Vision Clear Care. I'll run upstairs and grab a bottle to list the

ingredients.

My optomotrist encouraged me to make the switch away from the more

traditional saline/cleaners. He said studies were showing the

chemicals from those products were leaching in to our tissues. Ugh.

Ingredients: micro-filtered hydrogen peroxide 3%, sodium chloride

0.79%, phosphonic acid, a phosphate buffered system and Pluronic

17R4 (a cleaning agent).

Well. Hmmmm. Not totally chemical free, but worth a shot! My eyes

no longer feel irritated all of the time since switching to this

method. I find CIBA vision at Target and Walgreens. I'm sure it is

everywhere.

I also have trouble with any eye make-up that has blue dye in it. I

am prone to dark circles and this dye really creates a problem.

Sounds like an allergy to me! The dr. office likely finds it easier to say it

is just seasonal allergies, the is the catch all these days!

So I try to eat as best as I can, but that's all I can do at this

point on my diet.

We all have our weaknesses. Mine are cheeseburgers and fries. Nothing good

about it but my boys and I are hooked on them! We just try to balance things

out. We eat mostly organics and just try to make sure the times when we cheat

count!

Brown rice makes me gag. So for now its out the door.

Have you tried making your own meatloaf or hamburger patties? If so try to make

up some brown rice, put it through a food processor or blender and mix it in.

Brown rice and anything with whole grains are so good for you. My son and I are

big sensory people as well. It is hard for him to eat some foods. I try to

hide things in my cooking. I chop up different veggies very small and put it in

pasta sauce. Can't tell it is there. Sometimes we just have to get creative

around here!

I'm 20 now and I'm very proud

of myself for what I have done to change my life. My own mother

You should be proud of yourself for thinking outside the box for treatment.

Many of us do not have support from everyone when it comes to our treatment

options. You know in your heart what you need to do. Follow it and eventually

your family will see the new you. That is how many of us have gained our

greatest supporters. Hang in there. Chelation sounds like a really good thing.

I am going to be doing it myself hopefully soon!

I'm sorry maybe I made a mistake by taking diflucan, but we all make

mistakes. I'm learning just like everybody else. If diflucan is a

Noone can be perfect, we just aren't meant to be that way. The key is to make

every experience something to learn from. Mark is very direct but he means

well. We have all tried things we wished we hadn't. If yeast is an issue there

are other, more natural ways of treating it if the meds aren't working for you.

Many of us use Candex, Grapefruit seed extract, Olive leaf extract just to name

a couple. The No-Phenol enzyme taken between meals can also help as can taking

a lot of probiotics. For viral issues a lot of people take Olive leaf extract

and some like me add L-lysine. Taken together has worked for me in the past

with cold sores and stopped a recent virus in its tracks. For bacterial issues

I have used collidal silver with very good results. There are mixed reviews on

it but it generally works. Knocked out a budding infection in two of my kids

recently. Started giving them one spray in the am and pm and within 3-4 doses

was better. Kept it up for a couple days and

they are still just fine.

Wish you well with your journey!

In my family, this meant phenol intolerance

http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm

After I resolved that issue, the circles would come back with yeast

overgrowth

http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm

Then it was amino acid deficiency. Then B vitamin deficiency.

Can also be your contact lens solution.

I know lots of people who are using Diflucan. If it works to control

the yeast, then it is something you can certainly consider.

You can try garlic/mullein from a local health food store. I have

read many good stories about that.

In my family, ear infections meant yeast in the ears. I use

grapefruit seed extract [GSE] for yeast. Other ideas here

I use olive leaf extract for strep issues.

my raccoon eyes appear to be a sign of how well i'm breathing or how

clogged my nose is. My mom uses them to gauge my breathing since they

get really dark during bad asthma days (luckily not often anymore) or

if my nose is severely clogged. We only realized this a few years

back because I had an o2 tank and when I was using the o2 tank and my

neb frequently they almost completely disappeared.

Very often that can be allergies, if you have anything that can cause allergies,

try to take it off and see what happens, also muscle testing can be helpful to

[ ] Dark circles under eyes

What can cause an appearance of dark circles under the eyes in a 4 year old?

He's on supplements (many), we're at the very beginning of chelation (4

rounds)... For whatever reason I'm thinking adrenal fatigue? He has mentioned on

several occasions (this is pretty recent as well as circles) to us that he's

tired. And this is a 4 year old energizer bunny...

Thank you
