Increase in dose

I have lingered on this site for quite some time now, but have never posted. I

am 29 years old and have been getting sick every month for the past three years.

I started xolair about 7 months ago and it is helping but I am still getting

sick, I am still on albuteral, advair, the home nebulizer, singulair, and

steriods which is common with us, I suppose. Last month i was in the hospital

for a few days with pneumonia and have not fully recovered yet. I was on 150 mg

of xolair once a month, my doctor thinks the reason I still get sick every month

is because I need a stronger dosage, so he told me he would bring me up to 300

mg. (I figured 300 mg a month) I spoke with the pharmacy that sends out my

injection and they said that he sent in the script for 300 mg every two weeks I

am 115 pounds and that just seems like a really big increase from 150 mg to

600mg in a month ... Has this happened with anyone else? Or what are your

opinions regarding this?
