That really stinks.AND....I don't think what they did was totally legal. The ADA

requires employers with 15 or more workers to provide reasonable accommodations

for qualified job applicants and employees with known disabilities.  It is also

unlawful to retaliate against an individual for opposing employment practices

that discriminate based on disability or for filing a discrimination charge,

testifying, or participating in any way in an investigation, proceeding, or

litigation under the ADA. http://www.eeoc.gov/types/ada.html

You may want to check this out: The American Alliance for People with

Disabilities (www.disabilityrx.org) offers a few points to consider:  They

are headquartered  in Boca Raton, Florida

my job closed out my school year contract

Don't know if that is legit or not

asthma is kicking in because I am getting upset

I need to catch a break, I am tired of all this. It is too much

and I feel like I am being buried alive

I wanted to wake up and this be a really bad dream

At least the meds put me to sleep, so I dont have to think about this while I

sleep

Just a note to say " Thank you for giving this young lady some good advice. "   I

knew someone would know what to tell her.

 

Now, meencantador...I have been praying for you, that you would be able to get

some of the help you needed.  Also look for a lawyer that might take on your

case for little or nothing.  Is there a teacher's union there, or a teacher's

organization that might offer you some help legally?

I had another thought.  What about talking to someone from the ACLU. Their

entire existance is to help protect the rights of EVERY American....right?
