perhaps stop using the disinfectant for a few days because those are known

irritants. i just bought a car myself and we air it on sunny days.  i also have

my husband put baking soda in the carpet and then vaccum as this helps absorb

the odors.  we also cleaned the seats with a mixture of baking soda and water.

do you use natural unscented cleaners at home?  and no plug ins i hope.

it for two years as of Feb 2009. What has major league improved are the chronic

sinus infections. The asthma symptoms are eased but by no means gone - I can't

even think of going into a public place that has carpeting - and I bought a

newer car last March and I can't drive it more than about 20 minutes without

having a major asthma attack - I have had filters changed and send major amounts

of disinfectant spray to circulate throughout the climate control system -

nothing works. I go grocery shopping but from time to time have had to leave the

cart in the aisle and walk out of the store. My IgE levels are around 6,000 +/-

1,000.

Anne,

For most of us, Xolair does not take away ALL our asthma symptoms.

I still have to use inhaled meds to keep me open.

Xolair has completely gotten me off of Prednisone and 3 other drugs. All the

horrible, horrible, horrible (did I mention horrible?) side effects of

Prednisone and hospital ER visits are now over and I now have my life back.

Doug :)

Happy anniversary. 20 is fantastic and in today's society with

" pending 5 year contracts " , etc. 20 years is just good!

Congratulations, Addy.  20 years is a long time by today's standards.  Our

anniversary is coming up in June and I'll let you know how many when the time

comes.  It's a lot of years!
